Mrs Olubamiwa attended the University of Ibadan for her Bachelor's and Master's degree where she obtained Bachelor of Science degree in 1982, Masters degree in 1985 as well as Master of Science (Science Evaluation) in 2000. She joined The Polytechnic, Ibadan in 1985 as Lecturer III and rose to post of a Senior Principal Lecturer. She was appointed the Dean of the Faculty of Science in June 2009, the position she holds till date. She is married and blessed with thriving children.
