The Polytechnic, Ibadan on Wednesday, 19th, April, 2023 had it's first valedictory lecture delivered by one of it's retiring Officers.
The Lecture, midwived by The Valedictory Lectures Committee under the Chairmanship of Dr Nathaniel Adeyemi Adebayo featured Dr Ismail Oyefemi Oyetunji, a retiring Chief Lecturer as the first Lecturer. The Lecture ends his career as a Staff of the Institution.

The Valedictory Lecture was attended by dignitaries from all walks of life. The Governing Council of the Institution was represented by Ayaba Moji Adeyemi, a legal Practitioner. The Management of the Institution was led by the Rector, Professor Kazeem Adekunle Adebiyi .
A Former Rector of the Institution, Dr Jacob Ademola Adejumobi, a former Deputy Rector who later served as the Oyo State Commissioner for Special Duties, Dr(Alhaji)L.A. Balogun and Mr Adebisi Adeniran, another former Deputy Rector attended the programme.
