The Polytechnic Ibadan has achieved a significant milestone with the approval of a community radio station license for REIZ 101.9 FM by the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).

The academic institution’s achievement was announced by Prof. Kazeem A. Adebiyi, the Rector of the Polytechnic, who highlighted that the upcoming radio station will focus on enhancing the quality of broadcast journalism.

He acknowledged the necessity of this radio venture and applauded Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde of Oyo State for his instrumental role and support in bringing the station to life. He also emphasized that the station would showcase the substantial development that the state has experienced under Governor Makinde’s leadership.
