The Polytechnic, Ibadan has lined up a week-long activity to mark the exit of the Professor Kazeem Adekunle Adebiyi led administration which commenced five years ago in the institution.

The programme will feature the Rector and his Management team in a farewell interaction with the Executive of the House Unions on Monday, 18th March, 2024.

On Tuesday, a similar meeting will hold between the Management and Members of the Board of Studies. The Board of Studies is the highest decision-making body on academic affairs in the institution. The Rector is the Chairman of the Board of Studies.

On Wednesday, 20th March, the Rector will also be addressing the Congregation which is a body of all University and Polytechnic graduates or allied institutions working in the Polytechnic. The Congregation has two statutory elected representatives on the Governing Council. The body also takes vital decisions in the affairs of the institution.

On Thursday, 21st March, a farewell Special Church Service will be held at the Institution’s official church, The Lord’s Chapel while on Friday, 22nd March, the final programme, the Jumat service will hold at the Institution’s Central Mosque.
