Institutional Advancement Office
The Office at The Polytechnic Ibadan is responsible for the initiation and cultivation of excellent external relationship with the alumni, philanthropists, corporate organizations, government agencies, multinational corporations and all other well-meaning donors to raise funds, donations, endowments, scholarships, ventures and all other forms of goodwill for the advancement and development of the Institution.
The Advancement Office supports the management of the institution in its primary mission of providing educational services for socio-economic development. It is placed in charge of the drive for fund raising, excellent public relations with stakeholders and alumni bodies and of course, securing gifts, donations and endowments from corporate organizations, foundations, captains of industries and international organisations.
It is worthy of note to state that in the past fifty years, The Polytechnic Ibadan has been in the forefront of best practices in higher education across the coast of West Africa and Nigeria in particular. Through the provision of quality and productive higher education and the innovation of ideas, the institution has been able to produce a worthy alumni body that has impacted Nigeria and indeed the world positively.
The Advancement Centre hereby invites you to join in on the excellent tradition of The Polytechnic Ibadan by giving donations, endowments, gifts and support to the institution to further assist in fulfilling its goals of expanding the frontiers of academic research, attracting and retaining top academics and researchers in its faculties, providing training and retraining for its administrative staff, upgrading infrastructure and enhancing its global rating in a rapidly evolving educational system.
